HOW DO I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

Booking. Booking an appointment is simple. Complete the contact form including your desired appointment date, time, and details about the event. I will follow up with you via email within 48 hours to confirm my availability.

AS A BRIDE WHAT CAN I EXPECT WORKING WITH YOU?

Bridal Experience. You can expect a professional, stress-free, and fun experience. Hiring a makeup artist for your big day is just as important as finding the right venue or dress. The perfect bridal makeup artist will come to you with years of makeup artistry experience, education, and skill. Knowing how stressful coordinating a wedding can be, your makeup artist should be the one vendor that helps alleviate some of that stress. From your initial phone consultation, to your bridal preview where we discuss and curate the perfect look for your special day, to coordinating a day of timeline to ensure things go smoothly, your makeup artist is your shoulder to lean on. One thing I know for sure, while you may not remember everything about your wedding day, the one thing you will remember is how your makeup looked! And if you do not remember, trust the wedding photos will remind you. Let the professionals handle the makeup so you can relax and enjoy your day.

IS A BRIDAL CONSULTATION NECESSARY?

Bridal preview. Scheduling a bridal consultation or bridal preview is necessary! This is our time to discuss what you envision for your wedding day. Do not worry if you have no idea what you want, this is where we figure it all out. Plus, you leave the appointment with the opportunity to wear the makeup for the rest of the day. You get the chance to really feel out the look and see what tweaks, if needed, should be made for your big day. Come your wedding day, your makeup will be flawless because we have already done a preview.

 

Products

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE? WILL THE MAKEUP LAST ALL DAY?

Products. One thing all of my clients can tell you is that their makeup lasted all day! As a professional makeup artist, I know the steps needed to ensure that your makeup will last a full day with minimal touch ups. 

 

As a makeup artist that is very big on skin prep and skin, I really take the time to prep the skin prior to the makeup application. May makeup kit includes products from professional brands such as Makeup Forever, Mehron, Embryolisse, Viseart, Mario Basescu, The Body Shop, Lush Cosmetics, and more. Prior to your appointment I discuss any skin allergies or sensitivities with my client. 

Payment

IS A DEPOSIT/ BOOKING FEE REQUIRED TO SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Deposit/ Booking Fee. Yes, the client will pay 1/3 deposit to makeup artist via PayPal or money order. (Within 72 hours of consultation, signing contract, or scheduling appointment).

**Due to some circumstances where the artist has been request for the same day and time by another client, the first client to agree to the contract and make deposit will receive that time slot.**

~Note: Failing to pay your deposit within the stated timeframe will negate your reservation until payment has been made.~

WHEN WILL I PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE?

Remaining Balance. The client will pay the Artist the remaining balance through PayPal or with money order 10 business days before event date.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL FOR APPOINTMENTS?

Travel Rate. If the travel is more than 25 miles from the artist, there is a per mile charge of $1.00/ per mile. In the case where overnight arrangements are needed, it is the responsibility of the client to pay for hotel, rental car, airfare, and travel accommodations.

DO YOU ACCEPT  CREDIT CARDS?

Credit Card. All contracts require a credit card to be on file. In case additional services are added that are not outlined within the contract, the credit card on file will be charged. All major credit cards are accepted. 

Cancellations

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT OR CONTRACT?

Cancellation. Client has 72 hours to cancel booking to receive full refund. In the event the client cancels the services three days after signing the contract and/or payment of deposit, client will lose the deposit made to the artist. Any cancellations made within 5 business days of the event (after the remaining balance has been paid in full), will receive a 50% refund.

 

Extra details

Libel & Slander. Client(s) understand that any issue or dissatisfaction should be solved by communication. Monique Nicole and client(s) agree to not engage in any form of slander, libel, or defamation, either written or oral exchange, against each other. Any disputes between the parties will remain confidential. Client(s) will not make, or encourage others to make, any public statement that is intended to, or reasonably could be foreseen to, embarass or criticize Monique Nicole Makeup Artistry.  

Miscellaneous. Client appointments will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the governing state, without regard to the principles of conflicts of law. In any action or proceeding involving a dispute between the Client and the Artist arising, the prevailing party will be entitled to receive from the losing party reasonable attorney's fees. The makeup artist(s) will NOT be responsible for any allergic reactions or illness caused by the products used. Any photos taken by the artist belong to Monique Nicole.
